Vivosmart hr+ gps issue

Hi all,

My band can no longer lock onto gps signal. I tried syncing with garmin connect and express but it still didn't work. The gps signal will be stuck at 1 bar.

Any suggestions?

I found the fix if any of you still have the issue!!!

You will need to connect your garmin directly to a computer with the charge cable.

Go to windows explorer find the Garmin device and go to Garmin/remotesw…

The epo.bin file appears, but as soon as i remove the Garmin device for the USB it delets the epo.bin file itself.

I updated everything (Device + Garmin Express) and same problem.

were you able to fix this problem . mine is the same it wont pick up a signal , website is of no support at all

I got same problem with gps...the signal stuck at 1 bar and can't lock

I found the fix if any of you still have the issue!!!

You will need to connect your garmin directly to a computer with the charge cable.

Go to windows explorer find the Garmin device and go to Garmin/remotesw/ In there should be a file named epo.bin. On mine it wasn't there! This is the satellite location update file. Mine seems to have been deleted somehow.

This is the fix...

Install Garmin Express(if you haven't already). Log in, and do the add device setup process with your garmin.

Once done click the Sync button. When you look in the folder the file should now be there! Problem SOLVED! :)
