Hello. Since the release of the last update of Garmin connect mobile, I can't pair my vivosmart3 anymore with my honor 8! Never had trouble before. The bluetooth codes are just generating themselves way too quickly. Guess I'm not the only one.
The issue is rather with the phone than with the Garmin watch. however as stated, I would expect this piece of info to be sitting in the sticky thread, inserted by someone from Garmin in order to save all the hassle and stress
Everything was working fine for me until today, Just noticed it has not synced today. When I try to sync phone cannot see device but all other Bluetooth devices working fine.
like in the link posted earlier, turning off location and wifi seem to make thing work. At least once it was paired, but that might make the difference
The problem is with Garmin as I have had Bluetooth problems with every Garmin device I've ever had. My mum's vivofit hr constantly drops connection with her moto play 2017. My Samsung s4, s5, a3, honor 8,5x,6x have always had problems with vivoactive, vivoactive hr, 735xt and 935.
No other Bluetooth devices ever have problems - Garmin is the problem.
New update : no (some?) improvement. If I want my watch connected I need to turn off wifi and localisation, as explained in an other thread (https://forums.garmin.com/forum/on-t...66#post1272766). But it won't sync.... Are we making progress? At least BLE seems stable for some times....
Update: Definitively some improvements. With localisation off and wifi back to on, BLE connection stable for hours. Syncing ok. Houra?
Even with 4.1.7 version, location is still an issue. But with location off connection and syncing are perfectly stable. As I said progress are on the way!
