Hi Buckoroo,
It seems that two years on, there has been some work done with an activity called 'virtual run' that in principle works well for runners in a virtual setting such as Zwift. However, there…
Intensity minutes are only calculated on devices that support it (eg F?nix 3, 5, Forerunner 935,...) - Zwift (the software) doesn't support it so unless you record it on your device as well (you don't need to save it to register the intensity minutes) you will see zero - just the same as you will if you record on an Edge device.
Hi Buckoroo,
It seems that two years on, there has been some work done with an activity called 'virtual run' that in principle works well for runners in a virtual setting such as Zwift. However, there still hasn't been anything done to capture your specific problem. I have raised a comment that I believe would satisfy our issue. https://forums.garmin.com/sports-fitness/cycling/f/accessories-sensors/220058/where-is-the-virtual-cycle-or-virtual-ride-for-zwift-users
If Garmin produced a 'virtual ride', you would be able to connect all sensors to your watch and Zwift simultaneously, thus saving all your metrics (and intensity mintues) on Garmin Connect and Zwift.
Do you think this solution would satisfy your problem?
