Daily Steps objective

Hi

I don't want to have an automatic steps objective but, when I try to set a manual objective and make it as a daily objective, the app only assumes to that day and, on the next day it becomes automatic again...

Here is a screen shot from my Garmin Connect Mobile, setting the steps to 7500 and checking the box to make it a daily objective:

It's on my home language... Am I doing anything wrong or there is a bug? I did this yesterday and today had to do it again...

I hope that it will be fixed with the next app update. They know about the problems.

The update was some days ago... but the bug is always the same...

Yes, it's still there. An update with improved social sharing and other stuff was more important...

Using Garmin Express is no solution, there is the same problem.

I personally have no issue with the auto goal. Mine has steadily increased day after day and that's ok since I've beaten the goal each day so far (I'm now at 16,200).

My goal would increase if I wouldn't sync anymore. So everyday it is back to 7500 steps.

Auto goal has been flawless for me also. There are 2 places in Web Connect where you can set whether to use auto goal.

Everything is set properly. One day to another it stopped working without anything touched. Garmin knows about the problem...

Since 3 days the auto-goal is working again, the bug has been fixed!

Here too. But I only checked it with Garmin Express. The app is still on my phone, but stopped. BT on FR35 disabled. It was draining the battery of my phone.
