Maybe a translation error? In my german GCM the checkbox is described as "only for this day". Try to uncheck this box

Uncheck the box under the step goal. It means that you have that goal today, next day it is automatic again. Maybe a wrong Spanish translation. Mine is German and there the checkbox means that the fixed goal is only for today.

BTW, I would be glad if automatic goal would work again. Since a few days I have a goal of 7500 steps although automatic is chosen. My FR35 changes the goal at midnight but later it is back to 7500.

Mine works fine, at midnight the goal changes and stays the same all day. If I achive the goal, next day the number of steps is increased, if I don't achive the goal, the number is decreased...

Really strange. At midnight my FR changes the goal, but after the next sync it is back to 7500 steps. Yesterday I tried 7500 steps only for that day, at midnight the goal was 7500 again. Now I unchecked it so that it is automatic again. But as I said at midnight it changes than it is back to 7500. A few days ago the app changed the goal but after sync it was back to 7500 because the FR had that goal. I don't know what I can do. In the app (and web) it is set to automatic, so it should ignore the default goal of 7500 steps. On the FR I haven't found any possibility for that setting yet. The only thing I want is a working auto goal.

It's stange... With my first FR35 I had some problems, couldn't stop some activitys, the only way was doing an hard reset and configure everything again... In one of the days that the activity wont stoped, I went to the store where I bought it and they gave me a new one.

With the new one that never happened. Maybe yours have a similar problem.

To my steps problem, your solution and Paul worked. There is a problem with the translation to portuguese. I should say that is an objective only for that day, the way that was translated it means that is an objective por every day...

I tried it again. At midnight the goal changed to 7125 steps. I synced with the app, the goal appeared there. 15 minutes later it was back to 7500 steps on the FR. Connect (Web) still said 7125 steps but there was no sync yet. I really don't know why the FR changes the goal itself.

The first days everything was fine. But after the app update and obviously the FW update it doesn't work anymore.

Same issue here with the auto goal. Mine won't change daily as it's supposed to. I'm stuck on 7102..... C'mon Garmin. You broke the app with the last update. You need to fix it.

Yes, obviously it is caused by the app. Since the last update, maybe combined with the FW update of the FR35 I have these problems with auto goal. A few days ago I switched off BT on my FR from late evening until early afternoon next day. The goal changed to another value at midnight and stayed. Until I switched on BT and synced...

Yes! The auto-goal doesn't work. When will they fix It?

I hope that it will be fixed with the next app update. They know about the problems.
