System Unit Always Reset to Imperial after set to Metric

I owned Fenix 3 HR. I manually change unit setting to Metric on Fenix, but then after it get sync to connect IQ it will revert back to imperial.

I tried change this setting on Connect IQ System Unit to Metric. Then I press back and check back it setting value on Connect IQ, it revert back to Imperial.

I suspect issue is on Connect IQ.

I had the same issue. After trying several methods to change the unit of measurement, this one solved it for me.

More Fenix 3 users have this. I don't think it is GCM Mobile or the Fenix3 firmware but something in a back-end (Connect?) server. My F3 was synced to imperial units and a step goal I had last used in March. Problem is a week old, Fenix 3 and GCM have been same version for at least 2 weeks.
I got the right settings synced after about 5 attempts. Perhaps one node on the blink somewhere.

GC Mobile and GC web problem

I have the same problem. I have Fenix 3HR (Software: 3.20.0.0).

When I go in GC Mobile android app (newest version) and go to System\Device Settings, I change my "Measurement Units" from miles to kilometers. I get message "settings saved successfully". But when I go back in Device Settings\Measurement Units it's reverted to Miles.

It's same with connect.garmin.com in Device Settings, unit is always set to miles, no matter how many times I change it.

On the device (fenix 3hr) in Settings\System\Units everything is set to kilometers.

So when ever I connect and sync my device with my GC mobile via bluetooth, in Garmin Express I have "1 update Available" (other items, User settings, settings), same thing with connect.garmin.com.

I have the same problem "Garmin 230 user here" also defaults time to 12 hour from 24 hour.

same story with fenix hr 3.

also, sometimes, when not in sync with phone , wathc lags one hour before my lockal time.
annoying.

Same here. I have an F3 with all s/w up-to-date. Started reverting to imperial last week.

I have the same with my Forerunner 235.
Seems that I'd an issue with app (Android and IOS as I've tried both).
It happens after entering device settings menus.
It is very annoying.

I hope Garmin will solve this issue... This thread is half a year old, hope it will not die...

same issue here with fenix 3, every time the watch syncs with the android device the units get changed to imperial.
hope this will get fixed soon.

This should be fixed for everyone by now. Check your settings on the Garmin Connect website, on the app and on the unit. Make sure they are all the same.

There is another issue with alerts being turned off, but that is being worked on also.

Well maybe it has be reintroduced in this case because i just tested again and all the units changed again. So no its not fixed. And all the units are set correctly in ge and mobile and it only started to happen a couple of weeks ago.
