Is it possible to receive WhatsApp messages on your Garmin?

Thank you. I checked everything:

- The watch is compatible (Fenix 8)
- The latest version of Garmin Connect app is installed on the smartphone (version 5.26.0.9)
- The latest version of WhatsApp app is installed on the paired smartphone (version 2.26.22.79)
- The latest version of Whatsapp app is installed on the Garmin watch (version 26.14.202)

If the WhatsApp app is opened on the watch and the screen is on, the message appears on the watch and the watch vibrates. If you leave the app (to see what time it is for example) the messages don’t appear and the watch doesn’t vibrate. Is it possible to get your Garmin watch vibrating if you receive a WhatApp message and if you click on it you can read it?

Sending and receiving messages through the Connect IQ WhatsApp app on your watch requires your watch to be paired to the Connect app and requires the WhatsApp app on your phone to be running in the background. If you do not have WhatsApp app on your phone running in the background then your watch will not receive those messages. 

Thank you. Even when the WhatsApp app on my phone is running in the background, the messages still don't appear on my watch as a push message. Only when I open the Whatsapp app on my watch it shows a preview of the message. But when receiving a new message, the watch doesn't vibrate or shows a notification. Any idea why this doesn't work?
