I have updated the software multiple times, I have reset the watch and reset my phone be still it reports that watch software needs to be update. Watch is brand new

    1. Connect your Garmin device to a computer.
    2. Open the Garmin drive, then open the Garmin folder.
    3. Locate and delete the following file: GarminDevice.xml
    4. Disconnect the device from the computer and allow it to power up to the main menu.
    5. Try loading the Connect IQ content again.

    If that doesn't do the trick, reply here with what is shown for your watch's software version on the watch itself under Menu> System> About.
