Wind and Wave Glance for Quatix 8

I recently upgraded to a Quatix 8 from a Quatix 7 (my 5th Quatix). I am now finding that the Wind and Wave glance is not available on the Quatix 8 and the VIRB can't be controlled by the Quatix 8. I am extremely disappointed that after spending a significant amount of money to upgrade I have lost some functionality that I enjoyed on the Quatix 7. 

Please make the Wind and Wave glance compatible with the Qautix 8.

    I recently upgraded to a Quatix 8 from a Quatix 7 (my 5th Quatix). As a huge Garmin fan and customer I purchased a VIRB camera rather than a GoPro. I am now finding that the VIRB glance is not available on the Quatix 8 and the VIRB can't be controlled by the Quatix 8. I understand that the VIRB is discontinued, but I am extremely disappointed that I do not have the ability to control the VIRB from my Quatix after spending a significant amount of money to upgrade to the 8! Please reconsider having the VIRB glance available and compatible with the Quatix 8. Thank you.
