When are they going to fix the active capt app??  I need it to connect to my Garmin MFD; however, the app will not connect to the Garmin server x months.  Spoke with garmin and engineering is on it but couldn't give me a time frame.  Not sure how this isn't fixed in a day or two.

    Garmin’s ActiveCaptain app has been facing server connection issues for months, preventing reliable syncing with MFDs and chartplotters. Many users report that the app installs and works briefly but then fails to connect, with Garmin support confirming engineering is working on a fix but without giving a timeline. The delays are likely due to backend and cross‑platform complexities, so for now the best workaround is keeping both the app and MFD firmware updated, re‑pairing devices, or using Garmin Express/SD card updates until the app stabilizes.
