Are you on the Connect+ trial or paid subscription and are trying the nutrition available on Garmin Connect? That kills the MFP connection. I have not found a way to re-establish though, truth be told, I havent looked too hard since I gave up on MFP as soon as I found the one on Garmin to be as useful to me.
I’m a new Garmin Connect user and am having the same problem. It offers Connect+ but I can’t see how to add MFP.
Same for me. I don’t like the connect plus, I’ve cancelled the trial and tried to reconnect to MFP and when I go through the MFP app to try and reconnect I get taken to the Garmin page, I agree to the pairing and nothing. Embarrassing from Garmin. Just give me the MFP access back or let me get rid of the Garmin plus features early.
If you have the Garmin Connect + subscription this will disable the connection with MyFitnessPal, here is a helpful article with more information.
If you don't have the subscription you can try connecting the two using your computer instead:
From a web browser, open the apps page of MyFitnessPal.
Select Garmin Connect.
Select Connect.
You may need to sign into your Garmin Connect account at this time.
Select Connect to MyFitnessPal.
Select Agree.
From the pop-up select Allow.
It can take several minutes before the initial sync is complete. Both accounts will now sync calories burned and calories taken in.
So is this meaning I cannot re-connect to myfitnesspal as long as I have a Connect+ subscription?
I was trying in app and Safari OS X, but when try with Google Crome, it was working. But first have to delete your goal in Garmin Nutrition
I got my solution thanks fo MFP support team.->
I followed the steps in PC not phone, trying to connect trough phone didnt work.
You can check to make sure you're connected/linked by going to the Settings app on your iPhone device and checking for MyFitnessPal's connection status under your Health settings. You can use the steps found here to check on your settings: https://support.myfitnesspal.com/hc/en-us/articles/360032271092-Apple-Health-FAQ-and-Troubleshooting#h_01EFJJ77V39TYQ6H7FDKRS4SKN
Garmin should be showing however. Apologies for the trouble linking your Garmin, It looks like they have changed the process for linking to MyFitnessPal. We do have a workaround that will hopefully get things linked.
If you would not mind trying the following:
Please Note: Your browser might try to block the pop-up required to authorize the connection. If the page stalls on a "syncing" status, refresh the page and try again. If you see in your browser tool bar or address bar an alert that a pop-up has been blocked, click the warning to allow the window to open.
If you are connecting to Garmin using Safari on iOS, to disable pop-up blocker, go to Safari > Settings > Websites in the menu bar on a Mac, or to the Settings app > Safari on an iPhone or iPad. On a Mac, select "Pop-up Windows" from the sidebar and choose "Allow" for the websites you want to see pop-ups on, or for all websites.
