ConnectIQ app shows the installed apps and watches as not installed Fenix 7X Pro.

Hello, as I stated above ConnectIQ app shows 0 installed in apps, watch faces, etc. When you get into the section you can see the apps and faces I installed but when I click on the app or a face the only option is “install” and when I click it tries to install again and the button again turns to “install”

I can use the apps but I can not uninstall.

But the thing which bothers me is that I can not configure watch faces because the only option is to “install” it even though it is already installed.

  • Have the same problem. Did you find out any solution? Would be nice of you to share you solution.

  • Hello,

Yes, I do not clearly remember what I did.

I think I removed the watch from my devices in Garmin app. I made a system reset to the watch and restarted as a new watch

  • Thanks a lot. It works. I used my backup to set up my watch and this caused the problem.

  • Is it possible to uninstall these apps / watchfaces using the Connect IQ store app on the watch itself?

For CIQ "device apps" (which appear in the activity / app list), it should also be possible to scroll to the app, hold UP, and select "Delete from Device". (Note that any CIQ app which appears in the glance list can also be added to the activity / app list.)

EDIT: yeah I know this response is a lil late :/

  • Have the same problem after installing 18.14, then trying to install an app, which got the watch stuck in a boot loop, then hard reset and a restore from backup and now ConnectIQ won't update correctly. Incredibly annoying since I can't configure the CIQ watch face I use (in ConnectIQ). Will probably have to do a full reset without a backup and then spend the evening getting everything back to how it was.

  • I can install and remove apps/faces on the watch, but it doesn't change what the CIQ app "sees".
