I tried to create a course for my running route on the mobile app but when I click save it just says “Oops, looks like there was a problem saving this course. Please try again.”

I tried to create a course for my running route on the mobile app but when I click save it just says “Oops, looks like there was a problem saving this course. Please try again.” I’ve closed the app and redone everything but it’s still not working. I find this rather ridiculous from Garmin.

Same for me. Worked perfectly last wknd. This wknd I was able to save the course but it wouldn’t transfer to my Forerunner. So I had to keep looking at the course map instead of my awesome watch. Need a fix for this!

Probably a bug in the recent version. Report it to the Support, and in the meantime use Garmin Connect Web instead: https://connect.garmin.com/modern/courses, or a 3rd party route planner.

Same for me on Iphone. Automatic generated courses still work.

My problem was solved. But I do not know what was exact solution: contacting of customer support (I just started explanation) or action I performed meanwhile. The action was - for previously recorded track I made "Save to My Courses" -> "Save" and then all another GPX and Manual courses start work.
