What is wrong with Connect app iOS?!

Ok, this is getting frustrating, to say the least. For weeks now, there have been some major issues with the app. Something’s got to give. I keep the Garmin Connect app open in the background (around the clock) on my iPhone 14 Pro Max as I’ve done for years. Lately, things like steps, heart rate, pulse ox., sleep, etc., appear to sync between my Tactix7 Pro Solar and phone - somewhat. Meaning if my heart rate shows 58 bpm on the watch, the phone shows the same on the app, and updates in realtime. Steps too, for example. Currently I am at 5399 steps shown on my watch, and this is shown too in the app on the My Day steps card, and matches perfectly. However, NONE of the cards when opened show any data at all. All zeros. The watch appears connected, confirmed via the green dot on circle around the device across the top of the Connect app when open, but something seems to really be wrong with the app internally. “Partial sync”, we’ll call it? Is that possible? I have re-opened the app, and the watch shows connected, as always. I also confirmed everything is up to date. The only thing that seems to “jumpstart” everything back to full sync is restarting my phone. This can’t be the fix every time, right? Is it my watch? Is it my phone? The app seems to not be able to perform a full sync, for whatever reason. This applies to activities as well. I can confirm this has been the case since before the latest iOS update, as well as the latest Tactix7 firmware update. VERY, very frustrating.
