It works for me. Maybe a disconnect and reconnect of the services restarts the process for you?
Except Garmin syncs the TOTAL used calories instead of the ACTIVE calories to MyFitnessPal. This makes it unnessesairy difficult to fully track consumption and usage. This thread sums up the difference
