Garmin Approach S2 cannot update via Garmin Express

The maps will not update in Garmin Express (v. 4.0.22.0) - i have tried to update the application, but apparently up to date.

I cannot update the European maps, which is annoying as my local course is not up-to-date on the factory preset maps

The latest version of Garmin Express for the Mac is 4.0.23. This update resolved a lot of the issues with updating the Approach devices on the Mac. Please download and install the latest version from https://connect.garmin.com/en-US/start/

You may need to delete the Approach from Express then add it back but 4.0.23 should be able to update the European maps.
