Garmin Express Problems on new Mac

Wondering if anyone here can help me...Have a new Mac and not able to connect Garmin Express to Garmin Connect for my Forerunner 310XT. Seems to install and pair to the device ok but when I go to sign in to Garmin Connect to transfer data, I get an error message saying “There was a problem connecting to the Garmin servers. We’re unable to sign you in because our servers are unavailable at this time.” Clearly a software issue but Garmin’s support team in Europe not listening and not helping at all (will not refer this to software team because I don’t have any logs for the device – of course I don’t the application has not installed properly)! Issue has been ongoing for days, product support is totally useless. If it isn’t fixed I will be giving the device away and buying a Suunto and saying bye bye to Garmin for good.

Will let you know if I have any issues with subsequent uploads (2 workouts since the problem fixed have uploaded fine). I am with you that the data is a big reason to have the watch. By "software issue" I mean that the software seems buggy and Garmin should really look at the problems or put out something better. There are lots of alternatives out there to simply follow your progress on runs for instance, or look at data - the Strava app for Android or iPhone is completely free. I use Strava to look at my data but it needs to upload to Garmin Connect first. I like the Forerunner (esp. the amount of data it can collect, use with a cadence sensor, power meter, HRM, etc.), but a poor interface detracts from the value immensely.

I'm trying to connect my 310 for the first time. Same server error. I'm reading all of the responses above and it seems I will have to try this master reset which will erase all my data. I'm more concerned that no one from Garmin responds to this thread with a real answer. This is obviously a bug in their software.

BTW, all those notes about timezones, etc, are bs. My time zone is fine. They need to post a real solution.

Sorry to hear that Trigolt. I'd just download the ANT agent if I were you. Today I can't get Garmin Express to upload from my plugged in 800 Edge. It uploaded to Training Peaks just fine.

Sorry to hear that as well. As for me - here we go again! So things were working for only a week and now today my run won't sync. I get an error message that Garmin Express cannot sync today's activity and that the file may be corrupt and should be deleted. How does that happen?! So looks like I may need to do another master reset and lose yet another workout. This is just crazy. Garmin Express is so glitchy it is unbelievable.....
