310XT not transferring to Garmin Connect via G/Express since 5 Jan. Now 96 items wait

Since Jan 05 2015 data has been transferring from my 310XT on to my computer via Garmin Express but failing to upload to Garmin Connect.
Have tried full resetting the XT and uninstalling and re-installing G/Express - now on 23 Jan G/E still adds on new data but is 96 items backed up and not sync-ing through to GC.

I have had several occasions when Garmin Express has stated that files have been transferred to GC, but they do not appear on GC, or any of the other apps that upload via GC (e.g. Strava, training Peaks, etc). I cannot find these files on my Mac - in Library/Application Support/Garmin there is no 'Express' folder, just a folder called 'Garmin ANT Agent', which only contains one xml file.
So:
- Is there a way of locating the missing files and doing a manual upload?
- Or, as the activity is still on my 910XT, is there another way of uploading from there - GE will won't do this automatically, as it thinks there are no files to transfer...

There are 2 file location when the files are sent to the Mac.
1) location prior to the files being sent into Garmin Connect FAQ: Where do my activities go on the computer before they are uploaded to Garmin Connect?

2) location after the files have been sent to Garmin Connect FAQ: Why are activity files from my ANT device not being stored on my computer once I have uploaded them to Garmin Connect using Garmin Express?

Express previously had an option to erase data after transfer. This feature has been removed in the current version of Express. The current release is 3.2.29 if the data is not showing in either of the places I have provided the data should still be on your watch. If this is the case you can do a manual send or what is referred to as a "Force Send" FAQ: How can I resend my history from my wireless watch to my computer? This should help locate your data.
