About once a week there are issues with my vivofit syncing to Garmin Express, so once a week I will redownload the software and that usually fixes the issue. Today, however, after redownloading it, Express is just constantly saying "loading device information" so I cannot sync.
I did a reset as per your link. The problem moved a little bit further down.
After opening Garmin Express to download my latest workout, the GPS watch goes to Transfer mode, then the screen goes back to the chronometer. But, Garmin Express gets lock up while trying to Sync (see attached picture).
After checking my activity in Garmin Connect, it looks that my latest workout hasn’t been uploaded.

I contacted Garmin Support. We did "delete" my 310 XT profile from Garmin Express. I added my 310 XT again. Then Garmin Express has been working fine since. Thanks to the support team.
