Data not uploaded by Garmin Express to Garmin Connect

Since Thursday night data in Garmin Connect is not updated by Garmin Express.

When I sync my garmin forerunner 610 Garmin Express it says almost immediately that the synchronisation is finished but no data show up in Garmin Connect.

Any advice please?

    Thanks for testing it out. Have you done a master reset on that device?
    How do I reset my Forerunnner 310XT?

    Once that is done, try again. If you continue to have problems, I would suggest you call in for further support:

  • Albert, a master reset won't really work as it will delete my activities from the past days :(
    What is the behaviour of the Garmin Express in this case? Do you see any request on the server side from the client application? Can that be traced?

    Totally agree. Hoping the Apple watch will be the cure all.

    Same problem here. Trying to upload my Garmin Swim activities from today is not working. Log of today's traffic says no activities found. I tried Transfer All and it transferred my 8 activities from December no problem, but stalled on the 2 from today. Ultimately, it failed to upload them to Connect. There is nothing in the Pending Uploads folder either.

    Any help would greatly be appreciated from all of us!
  • I see the same behavior azdesertdawg described with the 910XT. the issues seems intermittent, but only started happening to me with the 3.0 firmware. I can see the history on the 910, but the transfer fails...the first time I was ok, sort of, at this point...frustrated.

    I am having same problems as the other users describe with a FR220. I can't get sync to work using either Garmin Connect iphone app on an iphone 4s, or on a Windows 7 using Garmin Express. I'm just going to wait until Garmin gets their wonderful server software back in order, and use Communicator to upload directly to Strava in the meantime.

    Im having an issue where it says successfully uploaded, but when I check online, it isn't there.

    vivofit - 'waiting to upload' then 'error'

    Have not been able to upload since Friday Jan 2. I have uninstalled, updated EXPRESS multiple times. Deleted the device and re-added, reset ID and password, but still no data get to to 'connect' EXPRESS syncs with my vivofit just fine then errors out on the upload. Very frustrating.
    Guess this is just too sophisticated for me.

    I have a Vivofit and it says it syncs, but the activity doesn't show up in Garmin Connect. I am on a Windows PC. This is not isolated to Mac's. Please address the whole issue and also communicated to all users when there are major issues like this! Garmin, I'm very disappointed in how you've handled this issue.
