Data not uploaded by Garmin Express to Garmin Connect

Since Thursday night data in Garmin Connect is not updated by Garmin Express.

When I sync my garmin forerunner 610 Garmin Express it says almost immediately that the synchronisation is finished but no data show up in Garmin Connect.

Any advice please?

    Garmin has finally admitted they have known about an issue since Wednesday night with some Mac users and the most recent update to Garmin Express.

    They may tell you things things like "delete and re-add your device" or "uninstall Garmin Express and re-install from this link" (both advice I've seen/been given for this problem on this forum) but don't bother. I've done both, and not only did it not fix anything, but now I can't get any version of Garmin Express to load - even the one they told me to download from their link.

    I think all we can do is wait until they roll out a new version that works for Mac users, and (hopefully) come back to these threads to inform us that it's fixed.

    Hi

    I spoke to Garmin over the phone, and they told me something about a software update and that i should wait until Monday and try upload my data then. Needless to say i wasn't happy and explained that i spent a considerable time looking for solutions, when they could have made this clearer on the website and or emailed folks.....

    Yup! Even people who asked were told to jump through hoops. When they finally admitted they knew about it, I asked why they didn't post an alert, and they said because it wasn't everyone, they don't post alerts for something that only affects some customers. Great, that's why I spent HOURS yesterday trying to troubleshoot why my syncing wouldn't work, when if I'd known it was their issue, I could have just waited. Their customer service and support is really lousy.

    I managed to upload my data from todays run, and it automatically named my run too rather than saying 'untitled'. The name wasn't quite right..but at least i can upload now...

    Yay! Yeah, I noticed mine are named, too "(My City) Run". But at least they're uploading now!
  • Started happening to me today. Sync Edge 810 but no data appears in Connect.

    Yarp - uploaded my Garmin 220 tonight (PC) - data loaded on LHS (Classic view) and the over view appears but if you select it to view full screen no map/route, H/R graph, cadence data, elevation , or any other of the data screens contain the data???

    What are Garmin playing at??

    I'm still getting nothing to upload through my Mac since last Wednesday 12/17. I did all the tricks: reinstalled the software, removed and then re-added my device from Express, etc. etc. and of course nothing works. Over the past several years of owing my 405CX I've grown to entirely hate Garmin's software and their support, it's seriously the absolute WORST out there. I guess I'll sit and wait for them to fix it on their end. Again.

    I hope and pray the Apple Watch turns out to be a good running watch so I can toss out my Garmin!!! #frustrated

    Please update Express to the current version. The device that you have is one of the devices that caused the core update service to crash. The newest version should correct this issue.

    Cheers Albert - but I am using Express version 3.10; clicked on updates to check to no avail. Any other suggestions?
    Tonight I've up loaded another file, the data on the LHS is there as is the map but when you select the activity it all appears except the graphs and stops my changing titles or adding free text? Having spent another £250 to upgrade to 220 from my old 110 (strap snapped and cannot be replaced -another grr..) I'm somewhat frustrated.....and more....

    I upload using a laptop with XP (yep too tight to invest in worst MS software), but also have viewed on a PC running Vista O/S - still no graphs?? But last week when this first happened, on uploading I too have my run auto named - still couldn't see the graphs but several days later magically they re-appeared and I could edit the title.

    Does this now mean I have to upload, then wait (forever how long) before I can view or use the data??
    Personally, I recommend Garmin roll back their software update to the previous version that worked (well most of the time); and for future updates they test it first rather than R&D on the hoof??? Not at all fed up.......

    And to add insult to injury - when any of my previous runs are selected and opened - guess what, no graphical data or maps or ability to add comment etc...!!
