Data not uploaded by Garmin Express to Garmin Connect

Since Thursday night data in Garmin Connect is not updated by Garmin Express.

When I sync my garmin forerunner 610 Garmin Express it says almost immediately that the synchronisation is finished but no data show up in Garmin Connect.

Any advice please?

    Thanks for getting back to me so quickly. I've been to the trouble shooting options. It doesn't help/
    Checking everything is up to date: the "checking for application updates" just spins forever. It never gets back with a response. In Finder in the AppUpdates folder I can only see the original "GarminExpressInstaller.dmg" file.
    Deleting old ANT Agent files: I don't have a "Devices" folder to delete.
    When I try to PAIR the device with Garmin Express, Garmin Express says it can't find any device.

    I'm having a similar issue to those described in this thread. I have an activity that seemed to transfer from my 910XT to my mac, but then I got a message from Express that the sync failed, and it asked me to try again. I tried again, this time the notification from Express was that my sync was successful. A quick check of the service logs shows the following entries:

    When I look in the PendingUploads directory (~/Library/Application Support/Garmin/Express/RegisteredDevices/3847232448/PendingSyncUploads/Activities) I actually see two activities waiting upload. Both files appear to be raw data.

    I would love to get these files synced, please advise as to what I can do.

    G'day Garmin Express,

    As of today, I am having similar issues in uploading activities from my 910xt to my Mac.

    I have had the device for 18 months, but this is the first real issue I have had with it.

    After returning from today's run (which didn't upload), I tried:
    - "Transfer all",
    - Deleting all activities except the one I wanted uploaded,
    - Un-parining and re-pairing the device,
    - Un-installing and re-installing garmin express,
    - Again, un-pairing and re-pairing the device.

    None of the above worked.

    I then deleted all my activities (including today's run) and tried to upload some practice runs (i.e. going up and down the block to get some data to try to upload).

    Now it seems that nothing is uploading.

    Any advice you have will be appreciated.

    I have been having problems syncing today. It will connect to both my phone and my tablet but it wont load any of my step data.
    I have tried everything and the app keeps saying it is updated however many minutes ago that I paired it with the phone again.

    But it isn't working correctly even now. The 'steps' and 'sleep' windows are updating but Reports is not and has not updated since early Saturday morning. I'd hate to think all is well with Connect.

    Hello,

    I had never had any issue with syncing and general use of my forerunner 910XT.

    However yesterday I tried to normally update 2 activities from the weekend, but I could not get it on Garmin Connect. They won't show.

    Also I noticed that in my profile my device is shown as unknown. On Garmin Express everything seems fine, it recognizes my 910XT and apparently the transfers are being done.

    Any thoughts? I note that I tried to do the syncing on 2 different computers, but the problem remains.
  • It's now been 3 days for me with the following behaviours:
    - Sync issues as reported in this thread: data transferred from phone but failed to upload to Connect
    - After sync issues, I've removed the device from Garmin Express and reinstalled the software from scratch
    - Garmin Express is not allowing now the device devices to be paired up. Error message is (consistent on different laptops):
    "We're sorry. There's a problem with our servers, which means that Express is temporarily unavailable. We're working as fast as we can to get it back up and running. Please try again later."

    Any idea when issue will be resolved? Saw this https://forums.garmin.com/showthread.php?184368-quot-Sync-issues-with-Garmin-Connect-quot but as mentioned I have activities building up for now 3 days in the watch without sync.
  • Just tried it Albert, same result.
    Device is a Forerunner 310 XT, I can provide the serial number if needed, test was done just now.
