191 items to sync after 1 run?! 910xt

We've been having quite a bit of trouble lately with data synchronization and thought we had it behind us, however this am, went for a run which seems to have generated 191 activities - all with today's date and this morning's times. 2 hours remaining to sync... I'm afraid to see what happens next. Because of these issues, we've been using strava and fear I'll have to run carrying my stupid phone.

device version 3.00
Garmin express 3.2.21.0
Mac OS 10.9.5 soon to be 10.10

I am having the same problems. also have a December 30, 1989 waiting to upload. plus 42 others from November 3, 2014. All those are from 4:59am to 5:53am EST. I have restored my 610 many times. I have deleted and reinstalled Express many times. I have deleted my 610 from Express. I cannot get the 610 to delete from Express - even though Express was deleted and reinstalled multiple times, the 610 comes right back. Help???

I'm also having syncing issues with my 910xt, it's claiming there are 126 items to sync (there should be 3 runs). Scrolling down through the details list it's showing a bunch of activities from today, less than a minute apart from each other (I haven't used it today, except to try to sync it), and one weight from Decemeber 30, 1989. I hope it hasn't lost my runs, I really don't want to reset my device. I tried updating Garmin Express (there was an update), but it's still over a 3 hour sync time, and the log looks weird, as described.

I have only heard of a prompted reset causing issues where all of the activities ended up with the same date. This can cause Express to want to transfer all of the activities on the device to connect again as it thinks they are new. There may have been a software glitch or something that can also cause this, but I haven't heard of it. It would suggest a master reset on the device to see if it continues to happen after. That being said, I am still wanting to have a closer look taken regarding this issue since the vivofit is also displaying this same issue. I would suggest contacting our customer support line so we can dig deeper:
