191 items to sync after 1 run?! 910xt

We've been having quite a bit of trouble lately with data synchronization and thought we had it behind us, however this am, went for a run which seems to have generated 191 activities - all with today's date and this morning's times. 2 hours remaining to sync... I'm afraid to see what happens next. Because of these issues, we've been using strava and fear I'll have to run carrying my stupid phone.

This happened to me today as well with a 310XT. I believe it's because of DST.

I'll save you some hassle - don't do a master reset on the device. I did, and it doesn't seem to make a difference. I lost my morning workout and still can't get GX to upload anything - even with a fresh reset, any new activities that I create fail from Express with a date of Dec 30 1989.

Same here; Garmin Express (v 3.2.21.0) with my 310XT saying it has 46 items to sync, all with same date (except one which has todays date and is genuine, and one which has a date/time of 31 Dec 1989 00:00). Can anyone from Garmin help?

We had some issues syncing yesterday. Have you seen this issue today?

I can't sync my run from yesterday or a test one I did today. It's still an issue...

All my runs have yesterday's date on them except the test one I did today. I think is has something to do with DST.

The issues that we were having with syncing yesterday because of daylight savings time were corrected. Activities that were performed yesterday should still be uploaded. What is the software version of the 310XT you have?

version 4.5 - everything updated fine on Saturday then I haven't been able to sync it since.

Is that what it says on the device, or from Express?

Today sync worked with express, but I haven't been able to use communicator plug in since express installation - are the two exclusive?

I have been facing the same issue for a couple of weeks. I tried to delete the incriminated activities. Didn't work either. I have OS X Yosemite installed on my MAC. As for Garmin devices, it bugs with both Forerunner 910XT and Vivofit. In both cases, it shows 40+ activities to be uploaded, and one from 1989 (similar to a previous post).
In addition, Garmin Express crashes and the sync process stops. MAC unable to shutdown unless you force Garmin Express to quit.
