Corrupt .fit file - file not recognized by Garmin/Strava

After a 120km ride the .fit file is corrupted with as only message that the file is not recognized. Anyone has any advice what fitfiletools.com to use to try to save the file?

Can share the file if that helps.

I have indeed 1/ cleaned up the folder with activities and 2/ the device is fully up to date with latest releases, but wasn‘t able to test yet if that stops new activities to generate corrupted files.

Unfortunately though I can‘t use the Fit File Repair Tool as I have no windows PC (although I have MS 365 and Access installed on my mac). I‘m mostly keen on trying to save this fit file as was a nice tour. Would fitfiletools.com serve the same purpose/achieve same results?

Since you are using a Mac all I can tell you is to post your question in the appropriate fitness related forums, not the forum for a Garmin Express/Windows issue. See Sports Fitness/
