Corrupt .fit file

I just did a stupidly long gravel/adventure ride, and my battery on my Garmin 800 died near the end. And, of course, my nearly 7 hour file is now corrupt. I tried an online fix tool, but it's frankly beyond me; told me of an error in a line, but I have no idea how to fix it. Any great ideas for me? MANY thanks if someone can help!

Attach it to this thread. We can look to see if it is repairable.

Zip the file, then in a reply post Insert >> Image/video/file >> click Upload >> browse for file >> OK.
Or upload the fit file to a file sharing service, such as OneDrive, Google Drive, Dropbox, etc., make the file public, then paste a link to the file in your post.

Some suggestions to help minimize the occurrence of corrupt fit files:

Remove all activity fit files from the device using these directions - Removing Recorded Activities on a Garmin Fitness Device
Regularly check for firmware updates using Garmin Express
