Connecting Fenix 5X to new Macbook Air running Sonoma 14.2.1

Anyone else having this problem? I absolutely cannot connect my Fenix 5X to new Macbook Air running Sonoma 14.2.1. Garmin Express will not recognize it. It does, however, charge. I have done everything humanly possible. Uninstalled, reinstalled all apps. Restored the Fenix 5 to factory settings. Contact Garmin support. Exchanges a few email. Bought new Garmin cable. All worthless. Seriously. What is wrong?

Hello Kayster, sorry to hear that it doesn't work for you. I struggled for 4 months before I found the solution.

Then I can only wish you luck in finding a solution.

One more thing, check if the watch is on the same wifi connection, I try to explain better, sorry but English is not my language, I split my wifi connection (2,4 and 5 ghz) so my watch use the 2.4 and the Mac now is connect with cable. So now I do not have problem... but I remember with a smart band (cheap and old product) that when the Mac was on 5 ghz the band doesn't connect with his companion app...
