Trying to install Garmin Express on MacBook Pro, M2 - installation routine will hang and do not complete.
The solution was to install a new user with admin-rights, then installation was possible

Long story short. In my case it was a VPN causing the issue but it could also be anti-virus software. If all else fails talk to Apple as the problem is likely to be something to do with Rosetta not running or blocked.
