Can't sync Apple Music on macOS (Ventura)

Garmin Express seems to be unable to sync Apple Music in macOS (Ventura) properly, for example on GE I see six albums and on AM there are 30+

Same effect on Playlists, Artists... etc. GE just displays a fraction of what is actually available. Whether or not the song files are on the local hard drive does not make a difference.

Is this a common problem?

Reason is obviously that GE does not look into the actual Music Media folder location specified in the Apple Music App, but instead always it looks into the following hard-coded path which is no more the default:
/Users/[username]/Music/

That doesn't make a lot of sense and should be fixed.
