Invalid files on Forerunner 45

From the time I took the watch out of the box, I have had three files that can't sync because they are invalid. Have tried everything imaginable, but nothing solves the problem. The time of the three files never changes and is (I think) the day that I started up the watch. Any ideas?

Try a manual upload of those fit files to Garmin Connect Web

Are these files in the \GARMIN\ACTIVITY folder of the watch? Was the watch new, used, or refurbished?

How Do I Manually Upload an Activity I Recorded to Garmin Connect?

With your Garmin device connected to your computer
Open the drive associated with your device.
Look for your FIT file under the \GARMIN\ACTIVITY folder
Drag and drop the file on to the [Garmin Connect Import Data page]

If you get any message other than Import Complete, then there is a problem with the file. In that case, please attach it to this thread.

In a reply post Insert >> Image/video/file >> Upload >> browse for file >> OK. Or drag and drop it onto a reply post.

Alternatively, post a link to the file using a file sharing service, such as OneDrive, Google Drive, Dropbox, etc.
