Same Problem with Windows 10

Problem in OP still not solved with Windows 10 and Garmin Express 7.2 in August 2020.

I solved it by following a suggestion above: closed Express, disconnected Forerunner 305, restarted Garmin Express 'As Administrator', reconnected Forerunner 305.

The sign-in screen froze after entering email, pw and hitting the sing-in button. Closed the sign-in window, re-clicked to sign in, reentered email and pw and this time it worked.

There is no excuse for an obvious and destructive bug not being fixed 5 years on, tsk tsk Garmin.

You've posted in the mac forum about a windows issue but either way I have no such problem, try looking closer to home ;)

Yeah, apologies, I did not realize I was in the Mac sub-forum, a google search dumped me to that thread and folks using Mac, Win7 and Win 10 operating systems were obviously having the very same issue as me:

Since the thread was started 5 years ago and a multitude of platforms still show the bug years later, including with the latest Garmin Express on Win 10 today, perhaps that thread should be reopened and a little more effort placed in fixing the bug :-)

Anyways, I fixed it following a couple of suggestions from there as mentioned above. Hope it helps others.
