Issues with 310XT syncing on GE 4.0.20.0

So my issue is that after syncing, Garmin Express asks me to log in again, but then never sends my data to my profile. I am positive I am using the right profile as suggested by others so that is not it.

I tried logging out and logging in in Garmin Express and online to the same profile, but that didn't help.

I then reinstalled the application, and it uploaded my runs to the right profile after install. HOWEVER on subsequent syncs, it reverted back, and says that it has trouble logging into my profile, asks me to login and then syncs, but then doesn't add the runs to my profile.

Unlike other good syncs though, it doesn't say sync complete after it syncs, so I wonder if this has to do with it.

Please help, as I feel having to uninstall and reinstall the app all the time is rather frustrating. Thanks.

Same issue with 310XT since last Monday, i.e. nearly a week - during sync Garmin Express states that re-authentication is required but after entering user data, Garmin Express states that sync completed but runs do not show up on Garmin Connect. Frustrating, time consuming, and not the first time that syncing experiences problems. A disgrace for Garmin! Solution to this specific problem? (Re-installing, re-setting, etc. did not help at all, just wasted time).
  • Okay guys, I just wanted to verify things, but I think I figured it out. When I checked my current activities, they all had wrong dates and times. So, when I cleared all my runs, things worked all week. Someone else mentioned corrupted runs, so I believe this was the issue.

I would recommend everyone uninstall all the garmin files on their computers, reinstall and then clear all your runs on your 310xt. That should fix things (I hope).

Hopefully I'm right for the rest of you guys, cause I've been running all week (Pun intended)

    And lose all my activities?

No way. Garmin are a joke! there has been constant issues with there soft wear for the last six months or so. Seriously thinking about changing to Suunto or similar.

Have wasted way to much of my time on this ***** service.
