Force Upload to Garmin Express? Automatically not happening....

Hi,

I was using Ant Agent, then purchased a Fenix 3 (which has since been returned). When I was using the Fenix 3, I was forced to delete Ant Agent and use Garmin Express. This worked fine for my devices (500, 910 and F3) but recently it has started to not be reliable for the 910.

Is there a way to force upload a workout(s) to Garmin Express?
Are there troubleshooting steps/tips/tricks to get the 910 to synch? The little dot is green, so the Ant stick is recognized and the watch is "seen" I assume.

Thanks...I appreciate any help.
  • Had my 910XT for 2 years, was FORCED to install Garmin Express so I could upload a course (have uploaded many course in the past using ANT+ fine.

Garmin Express downloads workouts, but the uploading a course fails with a big red banner saying "There was an error syncing with Garmin Connect".

Thanks Garmin, so much for my Century Training Ride tomorrow.

Absolutely appalling that you FORCE users to change software that does not work.

I am sorry for the troubles. Was the Course in question created manually, saved as a Course from an Activitiy, or Imported from a .GPX file? Courses created manually are not having sync problems but Courses made the other two ways are touch and go. The Connect team is aware of this issue and working on a fix for a future Connect update. If you continue to have troubles I suggest you create the Course manually then delete the original.

Again, I am sorry for the troubles.
