Garmin Express sync 'working' - but activities not uploading to Garmin Connect

I have a Garmin 410 which i've successfully used with Garmin Express for some time. My last activity upload was on Friday 13th March. Since then i've tried to upload two further activities and despite Garmin Express stating that the transfer was complete, when I login to Garmin Connect the activities are not there. Scouring Google for answers hasn't helped me either. I've uninstalled and reinstalled Garmin Express - to no avail.

Has anyone got any ideas of how I can get it to work? Or am I missing something obvious that I should be doing?

    What software do i have that is version 4.50??


    That should be the firmware version.

    I have a Garmin 305 and I'm still have this problem today March 28, 2015. I installed all the new software and it still won't work. When is this going to be fixed? I've found the only way to get my data into Garmin Connect Modern is to use the old Garmin Connect. That still works fine, but I'd like to exclusively move over to modern.

    Try my solution of installing the old version of Garmin Express. I'm curious to see if this works for others.

  • Going back to garmin express 3.2.27.0 has completely resolved the problem. Today, I got the error "cannot connect to the Garmin Server, please try again later". When i tried again, it not only downloaded today's new workout, but all of the workouts from last week that were still on the garmin but never got to connect, also uploaded to garmin connect. It is definitely a problem with the garmin express 4.0.* software.

    I am sorry for the troubles. I suggest you delete the vivofit2 from Express and Connect then pair it again and enter your Garmin Connect credentials again. This should resolve the sync issue with your account.

    I did this multiple times today and it does not work.
    After re-installing the device, Garmin Express keep saying that everything is synced but nothing shows up on Garmin Connect. Even if I removed the device from Connect (as suggested), when I re-add the device the same old data comes up (it still says the last sync was the 19th of march etc.)
    I also tried reverting to older versions of Garmin Express and nothing changes. The device is properly recognised, it "syncs successfully" to Express but nothing happens in Garmin Connect.

    Is there a way to reset the vivofit 2 so I can make one last try?

    We had some issues syncing this weekend unfortunately. I would suggest trying again today.
