Garmin Express sync 'working' - but activities not uploading to Garmin Connect

I have a Garmin 410 which i've successfully used with Garmin Express for some time. My last activity upload was on Friday 13th March. Since then i've tried to upload two further activities and despite Garmin Express stating that the transfer was complete, when I login to Garmin Connect the activities are not there. Scouring Google for answers hasn't helped me either. I've uninstalled and reinstalled Garmin Express - to no avail.

Has anyone got any ideas of how I can get it to work? Or am I missing something obvious that I should be doing?

    having same problem. Connect seemed to be stable for a while before this. My solution will likely be an apple watch.

    Same here. Hoping someone has a solution. I'm getting very frustrated.

    Same issue. I even removed and re-installed Garmin Express. I use Garmin Connect to synch with Training Peaks too. Any other way up load it to Training Peaks from my 910xt?

    Same issue with me and my 910xt. I haven't been able to synch since March 7th.
  • We are looking into this. Monday should reveal more about the issue. I suggest everyone send the data again from the watch. On the devices mentioned there is an option in the menus to send the activities again through Express. On the 310XT & 910XT use the Mode-->History-->Transfer All menu to resend everything on the device. Only activities not already in connect will transfer. On the 405 or 410 the option is in Settings-->ANT+ Computer-->Force Send. The more activities that are kept on the watch, the longer the process will take. If an activity is already uploaded to Connect Garmin recommends it be deleted from the device. A device like these will fill up over time then start writing over the oldest data. This can cause corrupt data. Please check back tomorrow if you continue to have troubles or with any updates.

  • Same issue here with a 310xt,
    the upload to the PC is OK
    but Garmin Express keeps asking for garmin connect authentication (where as the "Garmin Connect" pannel works ok)

    Is there a cache or something I can clear ?

    btw, once uploaded from the watch to the PC, are the gpx accessible somewhere on the PC, to be manually uploaded ? that would be great and I suppose we would all feel more confident in the no-loss of data.

    Same annoying issue with a 910XT: Transfer starts, everything looks OK, transfer ends ... but there's no new activity - and, because I follow Garmin's recommendations, the activity has been deleted from the watch.

    I've uninstalled and reinstalled both Connect and ANT Agent on my pc several times. I've disabled ANT Agent when Connect told me to do so, then had to restart it because the watch couldn't be found without it.

    I love having everything done for me automatically, but isn't there a way to copy activities to the computer, then transfer to Connect - before deleting data? I also use Endomondo, and earlier I had to export activities from Garmin and then import them into Endomondo, but some months back it became automated, saving me the trouble of creating and deleting the necessary files. However, if there had been as many problems with that solution as there is with Connect, I'd soon start doing the tedious routine again.

    There's not much reason to use an advanced GPS device with pulse and cadence monitoring if one has to remember the distance and time to manually create an activity with no pulse, cadence or GPS data anyway.
