Garmin Express sync 'working' - but activities not uploading to Garmin Connect

I have a Garmin 410 which i've successfully used with Garmin Express for some time. My last activity upload was on Friday 13th March. Since then i've tried to upload two further activities and despite Garmin Express stating that the transfer was complete, when I login to Garmin Connect the activities are not there. Scouring Google for answers hasn't helped me either. I've uninstalled and reinstalled Garmin Express - to no avail.

Has anyone got any ideas of how I can get it to work? Or am I missing something obvious that I should be doing?

Incidentally I've also tried to uninstall the latest version and installed the older version of Garmin Express and as above and that did not fix it either...

Can someone please get back to me to help

Did the force transfer after deleting the Device folder. No go..Express says "sync complete" but still no data on garmin connect. This sure seems like Garmin Express is uploading files that aren't the right format or aren't transferring anything at all. Reading through other threads makes me think that I should have some .FIT files in a folder called \Program Data\Garmin\CoreService\Devices\Device ID\Sync.

However, this file only contains a file called CompletedUploadsV2.xml. There is nothing else in that folder.

I removed old Express version, deleted Garmin directory from the ProgramData folder, rebooted, deleted history on my 310XT. I then installed the older version 3.2.29.0 of Express. Went through all the setup to connect the device (after creating a dummy run). The device sync'd and the data did show up on Connect.

I then tried to connect my GPS64st, it was seen but when I tried to link to my Connect account (logging in) I get the Server is having problems message.

I'm having the same issues tried everything on here no joy at all , even gone so far as to rebuild my pc and hey ho !! Still doesn't work. My Edge 800 uploads activities no problem, just my 310XT says last synced 15th March on the GC website under devices even though I was out yesterday

I am sorry you are having trouble. It is possible that your activities got marked as sent already. Have you tried setting your 310XT to resend all activities?

To resend all activities:

Press MODE (to get to Main Menu)
Select History
Select Transfer All

I did the "transfer all" and nothing happened.

I have a Vivofit 2 and I got the same problem.
It synced succesfully to Garmin Connect only ONCE. And the uploaded data (steps, Kms etc.) was completely wrong.
After the first sync the software started updating both itself and the device etc.

Now I have 4.0.13 and vivofit 2 2.10 version. The software says it is synching every single time. Garmin connect still says that no sync were done since March the 19th.

Just downloaded 3.2.27.0. I was able to get a test workout to upload to garmin connect which is a big breakthrough since every other solution posted has not worked. However there are 3 workouts still sitting on the garmin that won't go. I attempted importing them from garmin connect. This folder
C:\ProgramData\Garmin\GarminConnect\Forerunner 310XT-***\Upload\FIT_TYPE_4

contains today's 10 sec test workout and some files prior to my last successful upload on 3/21 but it does not contain files from workouts on 3/22-3/24.

Garmin people, are you working on this??

Got the same oroblem, yet another garmin screw up.

I am seriously considering taking Garmin UK to the small claims court to get my money back and money to cover the cost of my time in trying to sort this out and then using that money to buy a suunto ambit 3, because of these constant screw ups and NO support the 405cx is no longer fit for purpose

I"m back in business after downloading garmin express 3.2.27.0. There are 3 workouts i can't get uploaded but at this point, i'm guessing i'll never be able to.

One thing i'm hoping someone can clear up for me is that it sounds like there are actually 2 pieces of software that are needed. Garmin Express says "Your device software is up to date. Version 4.50." I had previously though that 4.50 was my version of Garmin Express But i know for sure now that the Garmin Express that works is 3.2.27.0.

What software do i have that is version 4.50??
