I've just bought my first Garmin and am unable to log my run due to a message that keeps coming up everytime I try to launch Express. I am told its an unexpected error. I am pretty annoyed that having bought the watch the software to support it won't work :mad: Not cool. Is there anyway to make it work. I am on a Windows 7, no access to other devices.
Same issue here. Could be a windows update. Therefore if Garmin know where the problems lays pherhaps we can find what program/update made a change there so that GE stopped working.
Finally i have found people with same problem as me. After contact with Garmin Support I have got some procedures that unfortunately didn't help. My computer is Lenovo with Windows 8.1 64bits. I have updated Windows NET. Framework 4.5.2 (this program have libraries that help Garmin Express to launch program) but it also didn't help. After a few emails with Garmin Support, they have written that the problem is my computer, but they are trying to figure out what exactly is wrong. I am writing this post only to show that the problem is growing bigger and probably there are more people that can't launch Garmin Express.
In a couple of days I am going to install Garmin Express on similar computer and then I will write if it is ok.
PS. If Garmin Support is reading this I can send You all emails about my problem.

I am having the same issues. It worked fine on Wednesday. Today it won't work. I'm wondering if Windows updates on Thursday messed it up. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling GE, with no luck.
