Cannot connect to Garmin Servers

Hi, I'm trying to sync my Garmin device with Garmin Express and consistently get unable to connect errors. Have looked at a couple of threads with respect to the update service and that has not resolved the problem. Have uninstalled all Garmin software rebooted and installed Garmin Express only followed by update service change. Is there anything else that I can do to resolve the problem?

    Brand new 920xt won't sync. Really???

    Same here. No luck with Forerunner 620.

    I would expect a bit more from Garmin.
  • I am sorry that you all are having trouble with Garmin Express. Please make sure that you have followed the instructions in the FAQ below:
    How do I correct the Unable to connect with Garmin Services error message in Garmin Express?

    Also, make sure that the date, time and timezone are all correct on your computer. If you are still having trouble, please contact Product Support by phone.

    Same issues here and it nothing on my Network or PC's that this has all been tried on Firewalls have been disabled and Application even put into the firewall manually... This is a joke and has been from day 1
  • Well it's likely to be something local as many of us can connect without issue. Are you connecting over wifi? If so try cabling directly to your router/modem. Failing that try calling Garmin.

    I am having similar issues. My Express was running fine with my ANT+ and Forerunner. I added the Vivosmart and everything went haywire. I cant even update the Vivosmart. I open express, it recognizes the Vivosmart but once I log in it says "There is a problem with our servers, which means that Express is temporarily unavailable. We are working as fast as we can to get it back up and running. Please try again later." This has been happening for almost 5 days. My phone is having no issues syncing with the Smart via bluetooth, so there is a silver lining. Also, once I added the Vivosmart to Garmin Connect MyFitnessPal stopped syncing. Anyways, is there ANY fix for the Garmin Express server issue? I have tried everything in the FAQ and everything, including Garmin Core Update Service, are functioning properly. Even tried running as Administrator. It would just be nice to be able to update my device. Thank you for your help!

    I had a similar problem with my vivosmart. I read somewhere to update express. I did and everything works fine since.

    I just got a Garmin Vivofit today and cannot pair my vivofit with my phone or my ipad. I have an Iphone 4S and an Ipad air. It gets to the point of completing and the pairing fails with a server error? I have done this about 10 times and cannot get it to complete the pairing. I do have the bluetooth on, so I don't understand what I'm doing wrong? It also says I have another step counter and asks me which one I want to use. I don't know what other step counter it's talking about because I don't have another one, but I always choose the Vivofit. Any suggestions?
