Cannot connect to Garmin Servers

Hi, I'm trying to sync my Garmin device with Garmin Express and consistently get unable to connect errors. Have looked at a couple of threads with respect to the update service and that has not resolved the problem. Have uninstalled all Garmin software rebooted and installed Garmin Express only followed by update service change. Is there anything else that I can do to resolve the problem?
  • same with 910XT. 4 out of 5 test activities failed to upload to GC, one made it somehow through.

    Garmin CS, would you be pls so kind to bring up some light into this problem.

    Tried to connect via android device and laptop, both say sync error, try again later.

    Same here, can't sync wifi with my Edge 1000. Neither with manual upload.

    I can upload my .FIT file to Strava or Endomondo, but I can't upload my .FIT to Garmin Connect with the Communication Plugin. I have a Forerunner 15

    Same here, getting a Sync error on Garmin Connect Mobile and Garmin Express.

    Yep, exactly the same here. Different ISP tried, 2 PCs tried, tried manual upload, sort yaself out Garmin!

    Sync issue

    Having same issue. Problem communicating with Garmin Servers. Worked yesterday


    I updated my iPhone to iOS 8.1 and garmin came out with an app update to garmin connect. Now I cannot sync to my phone, I get a server error. Very frustrating. Any ideas?

    Hi All,
    I've a Fenix2 & VivoSmart and neither are allowing me update activities since c.3pm GMT today.
    Any idea if a fix is imminent

    to all posters,

    I have read that there are currently issues with uploading to GC due to a time zone change somewhere in the world affecting some of the Garmin GC servers. I may have been lucky in getting my files to upload so I guess patience until the time zone issue is resolved is now needed.

    Same here. I've actually been having problems since Thursday. I wished I'd looked here first before uninstalling, reinstalling, deleting, changing settings....etc. Live and learn, then die an old fool I guess.

    Has anyone found a resolution to the syncing error? Has anyone been able to sync?
