ive just paid good money with no result.
And doesnt seem to be any support what so ever
What do i do besides flag it with my bank

    I am sorry for the troubles. Garmin Support is closed on Saturdays. I was able to duplicate the issue and I have created a case on it with our IT department. These usually take 3-5 days to get corrected. You will receive and email once it is resolved and the TOPO maps will be available for download. If you cannot wait that long and would like to request a credit please contact Garmin Australia. They would have to process any type of credit since I am in the US.

    I have the same problem. Bought a new 62S handheld and just bought the Australia/NZ Topo maps - only issue is I cant download and install the maps to the GPS. I get the message'"Failed to activate DLC on unit with UnitID:3881958460"

    Tried the Garmin support email and that does not work either.

    Beginning to think I have bought a lemon! Any help please.

    This issue has been resolved for your device. You can now download your map to your Etrex 30.

    I just bought City Navigator for South America NT for my Garmin 64ST and get the same error "Failed to activate DLC on unit with UnitID." Amazing no one works at Garmin over the weekends. Amazing no help with this issue is posted on this thread. Hope I can get some customer service help tomorrow!!

    I am sorry for the troubles. A case has been setup for the GPSMAP 64st and the City Navigator South America NT maps. You will receive an email once it is resolved.

    The UnitID in your original forum message is for the eTrex 30 UnitID: 3882608426. The case was built based on the information you provided.

    Getting same issue. Garmin montana 650 trying to download Southern Africa Maps. Eastern Aftica maps worked fine.
