FR70 displays message "This device is not compatible with express"

Garmin Express was recently installed on my computer over Ant Agent. GE will not upload any activities from my FR70. When I deleted the device from GE with attempted to add it again, GE gives a message: Device Found, The device is not compatible with express.

Please advise with a solution to this issue. The current situation is unacceptable.

I am using GE 3.2.7.0 on Windows 8.1

Ok, in that case try the troubleshooting tips in this FAQ

but first delete then reassociate your device with Express

If none of that works the Express team may be able to provide further help.

Yeah you see your response verifies that you have not understood the problem! It is when trying to 're-associate' the device that that the error comes up that 'the device is not compatible with express'

Well if you're getting that error having updated Express (first time it's been mentioned) then you'll need to wait until the Express team come along ... but you'll need to be a bit more helpful with your responses if they're to help you :)

Neither they nor I are staring at your device/PC so rely on clear details from you ... troubleshooting remotely needs give and take on both sides.
