Garmin Express - Device not found.

Windows 7 Professional 64 bit.
Garmin Forerunner 205.

Downloaded and installed Express.
Click 'Get Started'. Messages displays; Device not supported. Garmin Express does not support this device. Please use Garmin Map Updater. With a button to download and install the map updater.
This does not work, message displays saying the 205 does not support maps.
Cancel back to Garmin Express - Device not found screen displays with try again button. Then you can just go round and round in circles......

I have tried all of those already and am having no luck.

Most users in your situation do not turn pairing on in the Data Transfer menu on the 610. Did you try and install the ANT Agent again along with Express? Completely uninstall the ANT Agent and delete the left over files.

1. Delete the contents of the C:\Users\yourusername\AppData\Roaming\Garmin\Devic es\
2. Press the Windows Key + R key together
3. Type this exactly, %Appdata%
4. Click OK
5. Open the Garmin folder
6. Open the Devices folder
7. Delete the numbered folder (unit id of the fitness device)

Restart the computer then try to add the Forerunner 610 again. If you continue to have trouble, master reset the Forerunner 610.

How do I master reset my Forerunner 610, 210, or 110?
