Garmin Express for Windows: missing device icons

Garmin Express version: 7.29.1

It's unbelievable that after almost a year and a half, Garmin developers haven't pulled themselves together and fixed the missing device icons in the app:

- FENIX 8 AMOLED: when I bought the watch in 09/2024, the icon in the app was OK. But out of nowhere it disappeared sometime in the spring of 2025
- FORERUNNER 970: the icon is not there from the beginning
- HRM 600: the icon is not there from the beginning

I'm getting my new Fenix 9 on Monday, so I'm curious, but I'm betting 90% that the icon will be missing again ...

Now I added the VENU4 watch and again just a generic icon

It's been like that for quite a while, in my case since 2023 at least:

Never got a meaningful response from Support apart from confirmation that this is a know bug/issue.

I might chase them later in the week to see where they got with all that - but as per above: clearly nowhere...

Not sure if you respond to OP, or to me - in either case, my reference # your end when I did raise that with you last year was: 30544537K1 (Re: Garmin Express - generic icons for some of the devices).

And yes, you can browse my account as you see it fit.
