Impossible manage maps and software

Question

With Garmin Express 7.28.0+f1c0ff2f e Windows 11 the ability to manage maps and software has disappeared, it says to update but nothing happens.

Looks like it's actually fixed with 7.29.0 
 My Fenix 8 Pro syncs, and I could add maps

ilsalgo - I believe what you're experiencing has been resolved. Can you please ensure that Express is all up to date (version 7.28.1) and let give it another try? Please let us know how that goes.  Can you all please do the following to see if this resolves it for the watches: 
 
 Delete the device from the application 
 Delete the GarminDevice.xml file from the device 
 Disconnect and power cycle the device 
 Reconnect to the computer 
 Add back to the application
