"There was a problem connecting to the Garmin servers" - Garmin Express error setting up new device

Trying to setup my new Garmin Fenix 8. Connected it to my computer via USB and installed the latest version of Garmin Express. My device is recognized but when I try to connect I get this error:

> There was a problem connecting to the Garmin servers.

> We're unable to sign you in because our servers are unavilable at this time.

However, I can login to Garmin Connect online without issues so I know there's not an issue with the Garmin servers...

I'm using Garmin Express version 7.23.0.

Same issue here. Tried all those suggestions in the link and no luck. The only thing I can think of is I've switch from Bell to Starlink service recently.

In your case Starlink could be the issue, this from system requirements from Garmin's Express download page:

Windows^®

Windows 10 or newer, Microsoft .NET 4.7.2 (included)
1024 x 768 display, USB port and 1 GB RAM
High speed Internet access (Not for use with dial-up, mobile or satellite connections)
May require up to 20 GB free disk space
For users running Windows 8 or older, please download version 7 of Garmin Express for Windows.

Yeah same issue here using STARLINK, them I routed my phone internet and was able to connect.
