I have seen multiple posts from times since Garmin Fenix 5 that describe this problem. People tried everything to solve it. Seemingly noone has found a solution for this since 5 years. So I try again to reach out to all the members or Garmin through this forum. I'm quite frustrated for buying a 1.200$ product that just does not work.
For 9 month everything worked quite fine.
Then suddenly (without installing anything new) the watch restarts as soon as the Garmin Express Software opens. After that it goues into endless reboot loop as long as Express is opened. When Garmin Express is closed, I have no issues to get and hold a data connection to the watch through windows explorer. I can browse or copy files... No connection loss or restart occurs. But as soon as Express will open --> watch reboots again.

- and so on and so on... like in all the other posts (for example post: "Fenix 5x Plus turns off when connect to computer or is stuck in boot loop", or post "Fenix 5 Plus keeps rebooting itself when connected to PC and Garmin Express 6.19.2.0") nothing works. quite frustrating! Why can't Garmin fix something like this essential problem since 5 years throughout now at least 3 different versions of the same watch???
Watch and Express are used with newest versions of software since several weeks. No change that could explain the crash.
If anyone knows a solution or has any experience with this problem, please let me know. I even would be happy for comments from people who did not solve the problem, but maybe got it done by getting the watch changed from Garmin. It seems that many people spent quite some time with trying to solve it but didn't have any success. Please let me know if you experienced anything similar. Thank's in advance!
