Garmin Express error: The SD card cannot be larger than 32 GB with a 32GB SD card (3 of them)

Agree with the users - it seems that garmin has locked this discussion. There is however an issue with the latest GE application which requires a work around as explained by the forum users.

On the previous thread (see sd card cannot be larger than 32 gb) it was reported “I got it work by changing the partition to 29.75 using Mini Tool Partition Wizard that I use for back-ups. It's installing…

I can confirm that what John is referring to works. The latest version of GE however solves this issue - tested it last night.

Which workaround is that? Using a 3rd party formatter, adjusting the block allocation size, or creating a partition < 29 GB?

It's installing now, hopefully that it for the issues. Thanks for your help!”. No final resolution, whether it really worked or not, was ever posted on the previous thread.
