Garmin Express 7.17.3.0 - Dysfunctional and Disruptive

I have multiple Garmin devices that REFUSE to connect in MTP mode if Garmin Express 7.13.3.0 is already running in the background.

This is a nuisance.

I have to kill the Garmin Express process FIRST every time I want to connect a Garmin MTP device.

Win10 64-bit with all updates.

It contains solutions for stopping Garmin Express from starting in the background when the PC starts up, either by removing its registry entry or by disabling it as a startup program.
