Express 7.15.2.0 - No Longer Recognizes Tread

Latest version of Garmin Express (7.15.2.0) refuses to recognize my Tread even though is present in windows explorer and I can navigate all directories etc.

Please correct ASAP!

    Well, after I jumped through several hours of troubleshooting following instructions from Garmin Tech Support that literally had be rebuild the device from the ground up (by removing files one at a time then reconnecting, etc... so painstakingly slow and tedious), I FINALLY had an epiphany and performed a diagnostic step they never suggested, a step that was so incredibly quick and simple it boggles ones mind why Garmin Tech Support didn't just have me perform the following steps FIRST!

    1. Remove the device from Garmin Express.

    2. Reconnect device to PC

    3. Let Garmin Express discover the 'New Device'

    4. Add device using original credentials.

    COMPLETE!

    Now all is well again (temporarily anyway).

    I hope this will save others several hours of wasted time in the future!

    Well, unfortunately, this only worked ONE TIME.

    After updates were installed and the device was rebooted, Garmin Express was up to no good again, refusing to recognize the Tread when connected.

    So, now I have to jump through these hoops every single time I connect my Tread to get updates etc because the current version of Garmin Express software has some serious bugs - Garmin need to resolve these ASAP!

    Also, I discovered there have been multiple updates I missed out on over the last three months as Express has not been recognizing my Tread since August. SO, this issue is not new to the current version of Express! How many other Tread users out there have no idea they are missing updates because of this?

    The Tread is also updateable by using Wi-Fi.  Have you tried that?

    I am aware of the 'wireless update' option, but this does not correct the issues with Garmin Express.

    Insuring the Tread is up to date may eliminate a variable.  Back in August there was a firmware update to the Tread to version 9.80.  Details below.  Perhaps "Resolved miscellaneous issues" included some form of communication problem with GE.

    My tread was updated to 9.80 in August, and I just realized recently that it is no longer recognized by Garmin Express.
