This is rather inconvenient when you connect Garmin device to your PC: you then need to remember to start GE manually.
So no, it's a bodge, Sir (if I may write so), not a solution.
Yes, I understand about eventvwr, just can't get Garmin Express to cause the error consistently.
Thanks. I'll try that.
Just to add that I am using Windows 10. I have no issues with any other installed software.
Attached is a screenshot of the error I get on shutdown. It's not a real problem - I just click OK and my computer shuts down, but, obviously, I'd prefer not to have to do that
Couldn't work out how to attach the screenshot, but it's similar to the one Krzemien posted 6 fays ago
Yes I get the same message at shutdown. It has been the same ever since I got an update a couple of weeks ago from Garmin.
I now remove express from my PC to stop getting the error.
You would think a company like Garmin would correct this error in Express quickly but I will keep it deleted until I actually need it.
Yes it is really annoying. I have deleted the programme in Control Panel to stop getting the error message.
Will probably reinstall when I actually need it and then remove it again unless it has been repaired
